Inside Your Sea
In the sea, rests a secret
Where sandy plains are sweeping,
We do not have lungs deep enough to see it,
So, within ourselves we seek it.
We close our eyes and breathe in.
Our ribcage, now the reefs fringe
Where moon-glows are reaching,
Reaching for the secret.
Toward the drop-off we dive,
In the zone where light ungives.
Further, the ocean does not forgive
Our bones adept now naive.
Resurface, with the waves you can dance.
Float, allow the tides to make the plans-
To steal away your why’s and when’s.
The secret of the sea is its presence.
