Inside a Snake

Jake was eaten by a snake Gave the snake a belly ache Jake was wiggling deep inside Sister Suzy ran to hide. Jake removed his pocket knife Slit the snake to save his life Suzy said, "For goodness sake! Why'd you go and kill the snake?" This is one of the earliest poems, circa 1969, from what has ever since been designated as a series called "Lucifera's Questionable Daycare Poems and Stories." This one appears never to have been published, though someday I expect to collect them all into one book.
