Notes About The Poem

Insanity

All I have
Is you
Insanity

Hold me tight
Let go the fright
Too tired to fight

Insanity

Whisper
Gasp
Am I still here?

Insanity

Devour me
Deflower me
Detest me

Dead
In the grip
Of Insanity

This one reminds me of Artuad the French poet and one of my favorites. You can manipulate words with precision. And this is how i feel some days.

wow, Arthur. I like how this flows with the short lines. And then "dead in the grip" Awesome!

A clever and creative rendition of this theme, Arthur. I wonder what is best...to fight insanity or give in to it!! Regards // paul

What an insane write...sorry I just had to say that! Your poem is so very powerful in every aspect my friend! You have challenged us to believe in ourselves, and not within insanity, to leave the insane world behind and bring about the hope of love within our hearts to bring about delight again, happiness again, and the rays of joy once again...beyond the insanity that grips us to this day! What an amazing piece Arthur, Great Work!!
