Inreverse

I never wanted much, just your heart,
Never intended to push you away
Never wanted to say,
Just needed you to love me
Give me you, unselfishly
Share what I have with you
Join together our fruits
I should have never let you go
I should have never said goodbye
You should have been there for me
I was, despite the lies
For some reason I still can't let go
In reverse, my love grows

What if in reverse, I cared too much
What if in reverse, I never wanted your touch
What if in reverse, it was you that wanted me
Wouldn't that change a lot about how you'd see things
In Reverse my love still grows
For that same reason it's hard for me to let you go
