Innocent Together

I felt what I feared would be my last tremble.

As I was stricken with the needle.

I promise to spread my innocence.

To the ones unaware of their illness.

Even though my wishes have shattered.

The air I breathe seems to have scattered.

The stones where I once stood fall away.

As has my resolve- I wish to keep home at bay.
