Innocence Taken

INNOCENCE TAKEN Weighty muteness surrounds her It crushes the stagnant air Wraps humiliating memory In black, blue, navy nightmare. Unable to breath or embrace Hopeless emptiness of sound Distrust and fears that linger Long after rapist left her bound. Voice silenced, shattered, muffled Only roaches hear deadened cries Wet tears and red stain evidence Camouflage body …left traumatized. Barbara Barry-Nishanian Dec.22,2017 >

Debbie thank you, and I like it too. Almost seems like my pen took off and I went along for the ride. So, so, different from my witty writes.
