Innocence Lost

Days turned gray and nights turned cold
Fun filled times come no more
Childhood innocence lost forever
She's left heartbroken and sore

Evil comes whether it's day or night
No where for her to go, she always in evil's sight
Uses her, abuses her, and threatens her
World closing in on her; crushes her tight

She is forced to do as told, obeys to survive
In her mind she is able to escape, if only for a while
Why does her daddy hurt her so; what has she done
Stolen innocence, innocence lost, hurting child
