Innocence Lost
The image taunts her as she feigns sleep
Purposely driven to her essence
And as sure as it is there, it is evil
It drifts around the room like a lost ship at sea
The mysterious shadow lingers in loneliness
Her body paralyzed as her mind races
What is it?
Will it damage or deliver her?
Eyes appear - cold in the moonlight
She trembles under cold, calloused hands
They move incessantly over her core
Navigating their way to her forbidden succulence
Starved for a voice, her cry remains unsounded
Forced to consciously await the completion of his torture
She squeazes her eyes shut tight
Tears guide their way to her sweat soaked pillow
Life is endless in these moments of anguish
Her fight is flooded by eminent strength from this figure of iniquity
His pleasure is evident as he enters her soul
Innocence lost in an escapade of transgression
Eternity is less than the ravishment which seems to finally conclude
Leaving a purulent stench in the air around them
He stands and stares a moment regarding his achievement
Her exanimate body is left to recollect the horrendous terror
What will become of her?
The endless panic has ceased, but won't it haunt her existence forever?
Scarred, she can only breathe - in and out - her only release
The image of pain has gone, and her life changed for good.
