Innocence
Babies are adorable
Innocent and cute
It is deplorable
They have to get astute
As they grow up
And their brains become aware
Of the trials, tribulations
And responsibilities out there
In the big wide world
That few of us understand
We have all learned one thing
Life doesn't always go to plan
It would be nice if we allowed Babies
To be Babies as long as they can
Not to let them grow up too quickly
It's not in Natures plan
Their innocents so wonderful
A time that will be spoiled
As they will lose all innocence
When they go out into the world
