Inner Feelings

I pass by the mirror 
hanging on the wall 
I feel at this moment 
more vulnerable than I
can ever recall 
How is it possible that a
person can make you
feel so insecure ?
I know GOD made me in
his image for this I'm sure
It seems to some a heart 
full of love is not enough
They want a perfect shape
and size and all that stuff
Personality and caring is
not what they see
They look past all that 
but hey it's still me 
If you don't stand tall 
and have that perfect 
"10"
You are now viewed
as a "has been"
The pressure is on to
look just right
If you have any flaws
you are to stay out
of sight 
Another blow to my 
heart another dark
spot there will be 
But it's hidden in a place 
that noone can see 
Folks can send us 
through lots of hurt 
and despair  
But I know there's 
nothing that GOD can't
repair
