and liked by all she knew;

(and mutilated two!)

Jack, your concise, powerful poem gives me chills~~like dozens of news stories I've read just in the last two weeks! Janice

This poem packs a punch with its sharp contrast between reputation and reality. It’s short but hits hard, showing how appearances can be deceiving and the dark secrets people may hide.

I suppose you can still be caring, even though you kill the odd five people and mutilate a few bystanders.

Hey Jack. I always live when you post up your short clever creations. I would change mutilate to mutilating. For grammar's sake!

Creative work. We never know the inner workings of a person's mind, will and emotions. We might think we know them but no we don't. Only God knows. Sara K
