Inkwell My Emotional Cat

It's bad enough that I am dark as night
The fact hunters want her is not right.
Ink Well is furious that it is October again.
She is hiding out underneath her twin.

She popped a red hoodie over her head.
Halloween is coming, I don’t want you dead!
I felt angry now, hot, sweaty and mean.
Never a happy cat on Halloween.

I can imagine black cats hating halloween! Great name for a cat, and wonderful poem.

I do know people are advised to hide black cat pets on Halloween.

I kind of love cats. They are all over my house in the form of cartoons, which I have painted in neon colors - blue ones, pink ones, orange ones, yellow ones, multicolored, striped, checked, polka dots.

What a wild name for a cat -- 'Inkwell!' Get her some of Dr. Seuss' 'pink ink' for Halloween. She'll celebrate. :) gw

I will and she will love it. Then I will call her Pinkwell.
