Ink Like Water
Lost amongst lifes arid and dry dessert,
Scoarched and dehydrated by just living.
I crawled with all that i had left from all the hurt,
Mirages apear as my soul searched for healing.
Eyes squinting apearing before me was an oasis,
But could this be an image of what i just wished to be?
It was real as i sipped from its water and sweet is how it tasted,
It moistened the dry lips like medicated relief.
I sipped from the very hands that carried me across lifes terrain,
It's waters seemingly washed away all the debri as i cradled it.
They moved through my skin washing out lifes stain,
Helping my soul forget.
The fruit from which the water help bear was vibrant,
It's necture was only rival by the waters sweat spring.
In its seeds i gain my souls full recovery and hydrant.
Poetry saved my life.
