I wonder if anyone, anywhere is actually listening, GW. I think we both know the answer to that.

I truly love your reply and I would hate to belittle the gravitas therein but it puts me in mind of ‘Horton hears a who.’ In which everyone listens, but no one HEARS!

'Anyone... O, Anyone... Hey, Anyone! You there?!' -- Hmm. Guess 'No one' is listening: 'No one... O, No one... Hey, No one! You there?!' I guess we'd better stop here, Terry... 'Terry... O, Terry...'

You know, I've never 'caught the beat of cacophony before.' ~ Old Fumble-fingers... Seriously, your comment just knocked my socks off, Kim. Thank you.

a profound Rhyme poem, Gershon. I agree, even within the horrors of war, violence, and chaos, humanity's heart beats on..so inspirational and true, dear Gershon. Thank you for this deeply moving poem. Faving it, Sara

If only we could stop the bombs and the wars for all time and let the world heal itself. We never seem to learn from the past. A very poignant piece my friend. God Bless, JB

If only, as you say... Yet we can't give in to Hamas or to the Master Terrorist, Mr. Putin. If we do, there will be no world left to heal. Thanks, Judy.

The quiet of the beating hearts, I see them in my own heart as I read your profound words, huddled in bomb shelters. I'm praying as I try to type this comment.

Thank you, and please keep praying. Crying, if you desire: The gate of tears is open in Heaven when others are closed. Peace, Gershon
