Indulgent Imagination

I dream of fairy tales
in the realm of romance
where every image hails
from passion's strong stance
for, I am a beautiful princess
               with the exciting alter ego
               of a seductive enchantress
               whose alluring powers ever grow
I've been painted with the colors
of vibrant erotic magic
made vivid by love's contours
infinitely mysterious and exotic
               I need my prince charming
               to indulge my wicked fantasy
and keep the witch from harming
               our exquisite ecstasy

I can see so much in this that makes me question what is real and what is fantasy? Your imagination is part of you, maybe more a dream but something tells me that a big part of this could be closer to reality than one might think. This was beautiful Christy. You really did take my mind for an amazing journey as I read this. You are very talented my friend.

You hit the nail on the head, Chris. This poem was born from some frustrations and hurts I'm experiencing in my marriage.
