Indispensable Treat

No one questions as much
Freedom concept as such.

Nor its value or cost -
Til it is crudely lost.

Once it’s stolen, we pause,
Scrutinizing the cause.

Priceless is freedom’s net,
Let us never forget!

Its elite taste, so sweet,
Relish as a rare treat.

This is so very true, we take our freedoms for granted and never give it a second thought. Nicely penned Maggie. Hugs

It is indeed, though rarely recognised, e.g., Americans celebrate their "freedom of the press" whilst the rest of their world laughs at their naivety! Aloha!
