Indigenous

If life is indigenous
To only our planet earth
What happens when we kill
Life as we know it
Will our earth still give birth?

If we crawled out of the primordial ooze
Can it happen again
When we have destroyed all life
With our nuclear plan?

I guess only time will tell
If the unthinkable happens
I hope I'm not around
To witness the ultimate sadness
