Indifferent

The wind howls The waves rise and fall in the mighty sea The sun shines Completely indifferent to you and me A storm brews Lightning flashes across the sky The clouds will part Not aware of you and I So, here we are In a tiny fragile place in time We have a unique opportunity To make a tiny sacrifice Yet we kick and scream We stress over trivial little things We miss the beauty in life We only find what we bring The wind still blows The waves rise and fall in the sea The sun still shines Indifferent to you and me

Children - and other creatures - are happy to discover what they share in common, whereas adults only see what makes them "different" aka "better" than another person, but the tide rises and washes all away. Nice work! Aloha! Rico

Thanks Rico, yes...we are very shallow creatures. There is beauty in everything if we look for it! Thanks again
