Independence
Well I once thought what I was without you,
Then the reality struck,
That you need me too,
That I was a foolish to believe you will stay,
To believe that silence is nothing without say.
To believe that the wild sea needs the bay
Well what was life without beside you to lay.
I want to remind you,
A slave decides the worth of master,
A hope I was and you were a disaster,
I became your beacon in gloom,
I saved you from terrible fate that loomed,
Me without you,
was a person sane,
Me without you,
didn't chose wrong lane,
Me without you,
for miles had walked,
Me without you,
had smiled and talked
Me without you,
didn't wear a mask,
Me without you,
kept courage to ask,
Me without you,
was someone to love,
Me without you,
was a free dove.
So, when I choose this time
I would choose the me I was without you.
