Incredible Likeness of Being

I have fallen victim to my incredible likeness of being What was expected of me A side effect of gender dysphoria and living in fear of discovery Until the charade had ended I have kept my heart in protective custody for so long That there are times I can't find it Not even with my own mind Which means practice makes perfect fools out of some of us Who are always trying to fit in with people That have no room at the Inn for anyone
