Incompatible
It wasn’t my fault it didn’t work out
We were doomed right from the start
We just were not compatible
Which drove us two apart.
I’m not to blame but neither were you
Our outlook together was poor
Our goals were as different as night and day
There’s no way that we could endure.
You have no proof I told you lies
That I had been untrue
At the time I had but one true love
And that my dear was you.
So, I will show no shame at all
Let’s part as friends today
And wish each other all the best
And go our separate ways.
