Incantation

The way mother nature smiles leaves us happy through the miles that we must walk before the talk leaves us bleary, our minds weary A softly spoken prayer and the light upon the hill means we're almost there Our souls rejoicing still voices promise us peace fear will cease before the darkness blinds our eyes the air fills with sighs We dance beneath the moon to an elfin tune Coming home once more Quick - open the door!

Thanks for your comments and alert on my poem Difficult Standards. The last line, Gratefum, loyal than man" is to be with six syllables. I have corrected it like "more grateful and leal than men: Thanks

impressive lines Matthew and luv the flow of Mother Nature and her qualities so calming to us ... softly spoken prayers were needed while M.N. sent her wrath but all survived and all are well from the storm as in the storms of life luv.. an eloquent piece my friend..luv..
