In Your Pocket
All my life I’ve been hurt,
And have felt the breaking pain inside.
Everyday I would search,
But always had to hide.
Then one day, as I sat in the dirt,
Lose all love and hope combined.
All alone I sat in that dirt,
Then you came and stood beside.
Assured I no longer had to hurt.
Now, in your pocket is where my heart will reside.
No more will I hurt!
Never will I feel any pain!
You’ve put an end to my search,
And I’ll never hide again.
