In Your Arms Tonight...

In your arms tonight,
   you take away my sadness.
In your arms tonight,
   you lead me into madness.
And who's to say that this is wrong?
Each touch and whisper can't go on?

In your arms tonight,
I feel your love embrace me.
In your arms tonight,
   your beating heart against me.
Just hold me close and don't let go.
While darkness stays, our feelings grow.

In your arms tonight,
my heart just sings in silence.
In your arms tonight,
   serenity and calmness.
You comfort me, you warm my soul.
Don't stop me please, just let me fall!

In your arms tonight,
   I'll stay in sweet surrender.
In your arms tonight,
   I'll dream about forever.
Let's stay like this all through the night,
and wait not for the morning light.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
