In Time
When struggles turn into success,
When pain no longer causes the heartache in my chest.
When I can get off the long road and take the bright path,
When I can turn a weeping cry into a happy laugh.
When I can stop the doubt and gain much pride,
When I learn in time there’s always hope on the other side.
When I never give up and continue with faith,
When I’m no longer scared and I can finally feel safe.
When He will be that one faithful true love,
When I turn the sparrow too the more meaningful dove.
When my tasks and inner self I can finally find,
When after the wait my heart and soul can finally bind.
