In Time

The hardest stones may crumble in time. The surest feet may stagger and stumble in time. But hearts will melt, tears will dry Children grow and learn to fly in time. The tallest towers may tumble in time. The greatest speakers stutter and mumble in time. But pain will dim, sadness pale And in the dawn darkness will fail in time.
