In Time
It will happen...in time
I don't know when, and I don't know how
But it will happen...
In time
Some say that good things come to those who wait
But how much longer am I going to have to wait
As I watch all the good things around me
End up in the hands of undeserving people
But have faith my friend,
It will happen...in time
Once, twice, maybe third times a charm
Or so they tell me
The first should've been the end, but I'll settle for the third
I'm ready
Now it sits in your hands, and it will happen
In time
But please be gentle, my heart is tender
And please be kind, and show compassion
And help me heal the scars that riddle my chest, my mind, my thoughts
Because I want to feel love again, I want to love you
But I know that it doesn't happen all at once
It will happen...again
