In the Valley

In the valley where
Life is lived as intended
Happiness is widespread
As far as any eye can see.
Joy and love reign
As peace and blessings
Fall from above.
Minor disagreements though
Few and far between,
Met with acceptance and
Understanding are
Respectfully resolved with
Knowledge and equality
For the good of all involved.
In the valley
Poverty does not exist.
Seeds of wealth
Planted since
The beginning of time
Have been harvesting
For generations and
Will continue on
Long after we're gone.
In the valley
There is no violence.
Voices are raised in song
And celebration of one another
Like wine glasses in toast.
Sleep is the only silence
That can be heard
Other than peace itself.
There's no such thing
As discrimination.
All are as equal here
As we are in the eyes of God.
Selfishness and jealousy
Like pain and suffering
Will never be known
Here in the valley.
Everyone's consciences
Are clear and hearts are
As open as welcoming arms.
Life in the valley may seem
Like lifetimes away but
It's inside each and everyone of us
Dare to reach in and see?
We were made in His likeness
With agape love.
That unconditional love for
All of mankind.
This is how life in the valley
Is lived as intended.
Will you come?

Thank you again Pace. Regardless of how the world is, if more of us thought on the scale of how life was intended to be, then perhaps it would be. We have to change our ways of thinking and doing according to the original intended plan.
