In the Silence of the Night
The nights surrounding silence
no words need to be said
as I'm lying in your arms
beneath the covers of your bed.
A new world begins to open
that only you and I understand
the meaning behind every kiss
the gentle touch of your hand.
slowly taking one another
to a place beyond reality
passion takes a hold
denying thinking of it's clarity
we get lost within each other
losing track of time
holding your face in my hands
I know that you are mine.
the complex look in your eyes
and I know how you feel
and when we make love
I can feel that it is real
in the silence of the night
it's then I surrender my heart
your loving is what I crave
especially when we're apart
you have apart of me
I know you that will treasure
and we share a love
that will shine always and forever
