In the Red
Oh my what do I see
We keep repeating the same misery
We push ourselves to the brink
Only to find ourselves in the red
We work our fingers too the bone
Heaven is a place we call home
Is it to much to catch a brake
Our prayers fall upon deaf ears
The struggle is less because of love
Don't get me wrong we have enough
We've got to save for the little things
Or Their lives will pass us bye
Maybe believe
We will find out at the end
The troubles and the triumphs
It's all the same my friend
So you keep moving along
One step for the night
Rest your head my weary friend
It will be alright
Oh my we tell ourselves
It will be ok just wait a week
Friday comes and goes away
The end of the day we are still the same
Troubles come in three they say
The time for work is all no play
Can we climb from the cavern below
Or are we spiraling out of control
The struggle is less because of love
Don't get me wrong we have enough
We've got to save for the little things
Or Their lives will pass us bye
Maybe believe
We will find out at the end
The troubles and the triumphs
It's all the same my friend
So you keep moving along
One step for the night
Rest your head my weary friend
It will be alright
Maybe believe
We will find out at the end
The troubles and the triumphs
It's all the same my friend
So you keep moving along
One step for the night
Rest your head my weary friend
It will be alright
