In the Realm of Our Identity
One’s identity reflects who we are
in many circumstances where we act as one
perhaps in an individual or corporate performance
that we’re identified as part of the whole spectrum.
But many times our mood swing makes us different
to claim our consistency in levels of humanity;
it’s our nature being human that makes sense
in describing the mystery of our individual personality.
Yet this is how we manifest ourselves day-by-day,
with all our gift of intellect and freewill
God has every reason to tell us how he loves us
in spite of our weaknesses and infidelities to his testament.
Like penguins who’ve wings and feathers
they’re not fish but they can can sink as deep as a thousand feet;
human beings too, they’ve hands and feet
they’re not horses but they can travel on foot miles away.
We see how life can make us think
In different perspectives that open windows
To opportunities that lead to layers of consciousness
As a particular culture in the minds of global people
Our history, religion play the role as a source of our identity.
