IN THE NOW TIME OF AWARENESS

 

The state of the nation

Within the nation,

Presents a dire situation:

Liberty cannot be won

By desire alone:-

Thus, as we face the rising sun–

With our eyes looking toward home–

Let not our hope wane in its fruition,

But ever fuel us in completing our mission:-

Pick up the torches, my children, and carry on;

Be the ever footsteps toward our freedom won:

The finish line still lies a little further ahead,

Thus, pace yourselves until the race is done:-

Then you may proudly hold up your head,

Honoring the blood ancestors decided to shed:
