In the Mood For Love Again
I was lost in the lane of lies and lust,
Nature gave me so much to taste and trust:
The stars that garnished her erring eyes,
hot hills to burnish as I reach for frail skies.
Endless ecstacy greeted each vain-flight;
missiled by the force of love at false sight
only to be drowned in the ocean of regret.
Onerous is the task to forgive and forget;
dirge of desire resounds in my inner ears.
Faith distils on the flowers of my fears,
opening the petals of the morning bloom.
Reality zoomed through my empty room.
Aura of love awashed the atmoshpere again
God caused tears on the wind to drain...
All I feel now is refreshing sounds of rain.
I am in the mood for real love again;
never to be drowned in the lake of lust.
