In the Midst of Evil

Nothing comes close
To the emotion of fear;
Standing so still with all limbs froze,
As it quickly draws near.

Think you're in a dream
In a land so far and barren;
But when all is real it makes you scream,
In the corner he is just staring.

But you have family to defend
The number one priority in life;
No dangerous situation is ever pretend,
So fight for them in the point of a knife.

Though I am nice I can be fierce
Especially when I'm under attack;
The claws I inhabit can definitely pierce,
The flesh of those who decide to fight in the black.
