In the Meantime

In the meantime is where I stand
Where my thoughts are as plain as land
As these grains of sand, Descend from my hands
My thoughts are dispensed from recent events
Get up or give up which decision will win
They only reply, decide but to survive its supply and demand
Suicide is how you die if you die within
Genocide is the death of those who will rise again
Never to be diminished only replenished
But to our demise we are but a sacrifice to them
We pay our tides to them
But in the meantime, only time is spent
So they say right now isn’t the time for this
                                                                            By: Loquita Shaw
