In the Meadow

There Is a Hidden Valley
So the Legend Goes
Where Beautiful Red Lilies
In a Meadow Grow

Each Scarlet Flower
Blooms Only Once a Year
Because Each Scarlet Bloom
Represents a True Love's Tear

The Meadow Isn't Very Large
Because True Love's Very Rare
And Very Seldom Does True Love
Cause Pain or Is Unfair

It's Been Seen by Just a Few
But They Only One Time See
The Beauty of the Lily
Unknown to You and Me
