In the Losing of Myself

This time I've truly lost myself
And I don't know where to look
I put myself upon a shelf
What's the name of the book
It's not that you can read me
Or even that you would care
But if you look and see me
What's the story you would share
I have to keep on searching
Searching for myself
I have to keep from lurching
And falling from the shelf
If I look ahead
I can see myself
May have you misled
In the losing of myself
