In the Holiday Season
All I want for Christmas is a new everything
I really don’t want to come across as overbearing
When I say everything I mean just toys
Just want to be one of the boys
Have you ever sat on Santa’s lap
Maybe asked him for a baseball cap
Perhaps a toy that squishes
Or told him all your wishes
I like to get into the festive spirit
And I can get so loud you can hear it
We like to put up the decorations
On our winter vacations
Is it really better to give than receive
Yes it sure is you had better believe
But when I get a present
I really do feel pleasant
I always wish for snow in the winter
So I can make photo’s with my new printer
I have taken many good shots
From so many good spots
And the greater the gift
You can get quite a lift
In the holiday season
For a very good reason
So I say to you all
As I decorate the hall
Merry Christmas to you
And to all who are true
