In the Garden of War
In The Garden of War
Satan—
Disguised cherub
Stole into the garden
The hawk
Devoured the dove
Same wing—
Different feathers
Are we not
Just a variation
Same is the saying—
Early worms get caught
Least sleeping birds arise late
May tomorrow dawn
Resurrection of the doves
May the true cherubs
Arise and soar
May the wings of hawks
Become featherless.
