In the Garden
The sun's gentle rays
pour down on me,
sitting in the garden
drinking tea.
Yesterday's music
still plays in my head,
some battles are over,
others lie ahead.
The leaves glide down,
oh so gracefully,
sitting in the garden
drinking tea.
Thanks for the people
who reached out for me,
when I lost my grip
or just couldn't see.
The lessons I learned
mean a lot to me,
sitting in the garden
drinking tea.
