In the Forest

In the darkest forest deep
Where the elves and fairies sleep
Grows the sweetest of the dell
Lovely, fragrant heather bell

Sweeter blossom never known
Inside curled a tiny gnome
Stretches, tumbles from his bed
Falling dew drops kiss his head

Timid deer who drink at creek
Finds the tender moss they seek
Tiny flower folk run away
Find another glen to play

This was magical, a trip to fantasy land. Enjoyed. Vince
