In the Eye of the Beholder
She still believes
The beauty she once knew
Is still there
And though she acts childish
And wears dresses
Meant for someone much younger
There’s no denying
That, that time
Has long since past
Still
She believes others see her
As she sees herself
And if beauty
Is in the eye of the beholder
Then for God’s sake
Will someone please
Get her, her glasses
