In the End
Extinguish the glow, to which empires rule
The lonesome, they become, the reigning fool
Dowse what burns, surrender the fuel
Handle with care, until temperatures cool
Strike while blind, holding back fear
Energy ceases, when the end, it is near
Turn over the reins, to witness them steer
When the dust will settle, all becomes clear
Thick is the brush, garden that I tend
Broken these branches, that I cautiously mend
For a beautiful view, this message that I send
Futures foretold, silent, around the bend
Alter the mind, the truth, in which we believe
The prize worth winning, once we gain and receive
Goals set forth, through patience, we achieve
It is only ourselves, we must learn to deceive
