In the Dawn of Her Silence

I have fallen into absence upon the dawning of her silence
and here catatonic in my chair
I shall fade away into ignorance
while I watch the rain drops dance around
like little napalm embers of ecstasy.

until I heard the distant whispers of your haunted memory
they flew to me upon the wings of destiny
and I felt the ghostly touch of your nirvana trickle down my spine

so I ran down to the meadow
to where our silhouettes never rest
I remembered when we were like shadows in the mist
where you gave me my first butterfly kiss
and your touch when you rushed into my arms
like the falling lights from heaven.

I find peace within your dream
but the pain is never ending
so shrouded inside these swirling tides of mist
I will fall asleep under a veil of watered glass
and together we shall float away into the dawn of our silence.
