In the Darkness
In the darkness
Gasping for every breath
With no sign of light
It feels just like death
Screaming out
But no one can hear
My mind
Playing on my every fear
In the darkness
Emptiness has a strangle hold
Without your shelter
I feel alone and cold
Grasping in vain
At every sound I hear
Only to realize
That you are not here
I can’t live without your love
My Father from above
Please do not let me stray
And wander far away
Keep me by your side
Only in you I can confide
In a world without much sense
Do not leave me in the darkness
