In the Dark
Somewhere in the dark,
I lost your light.
Couldn't find the spark,
That used to be so bright.
I searched for it for hours,
Unable to see or die,
I wilted like the flowers,
To withered to cry.
I could smell you in the breeze,
The smell of fire and rye,
My soul begins to freeze,
Was it really all a lie?
Crawling on in vein,
Praying for a sign,
My hands and heart in pain,
Were you ever even mine?
