In the Corner
Bright eyes
a slender face,
she sit in the corner
as she lost her place..
Her clothes are worn,
ten years out of style.
Hiding her pain
with a half hearted smile..
She doesn't fit in,
and everyone knows.
She enters the room,
to the corner she goes..
All it would take
is a smile or a glance'
But none of us here
will give her that chance..
And so It's our loss
and we'll never know,
that heart in the corner
or feel it's glow..
