In the Beginning

In the beginning love is peachy and grand, But, in the end it's nothing like you planned, In the beginning it's kisses and hugs, in the end it's bad looks and shrugs,... In the beginning your journey is infallible and headed for a perfect destination, In the end you get very little respect and less consideration, In the beginning it's dinner, the movies, and holding hands, In the end you're feeling as if you're all alone and you think no-one understands,... In the beginning it's kisses goodbye, In the end you're the one hurting and left alone to cry, In the beginning it's "oh, we'll always be husband and wife", In the end you're wondering "why did I waste all those years of my life",....
