In the beauty of my youth
Such boundless energies
Love takes on a special meaning
Colours are brighter
All the senses magnified
Heightened dreaming
For, I dreamed of you
From a time long ago
When we were in love
Such intenseness
I felt it too
In the beauty of my youth
I looked back,
and in no time too
Saw you standing there
My heart squeezed
Such soft skin to touch
In what I dreamed of you
For, I dreamed of you
Time after time
I wanted you to know
That I loved you too
In the beauty of my youth....
I let you go
