In Stars Above
For: This or That, Vol 34 Poetry Contest

The only place to write your name
is in the stars above,
it matters not the nebula
is sparkling in its fame,
for you alone, my dearest love
are as beautiful as Helena.

I am caught within your snare,
as was Troy, your cause célèbre,
and if I should taste of your bright flame
your venom, dear, if I dare,
would be as deadly as the Vespula.
